Park Hyatt Zurich Review – Urban Luxe

We love spending time in Switzerland, and Zurich is often our first stop. There is so much to love about this beautiful and family-friendly city – the gorgeous lakeside location, luxury shopping, Swiss predictability, delicious restaurants and the luxe Park Hyatt Zurich.

Location

The Park Hyatt Zurich is located in the center of Zurich’s financial district and close to world-class shopping, attractions, and beautiful Lake Zurich. It is an easy stroll from the Park Hyatt Zurich to the exclusive Bahnhofstrasse shopping area, delightful Old Town, or the parks and beaches along Lake Zurich.

Room and Suites

The decor at the Park Hyatt Zurich is sophisticated and peaceful. The generous use of wood, stone, and high-quality textiles provides guests with a cozy and luxurious haven. During our most recent stay, we booked two connecting rooms and had ample space for a family of four.

The lovely guest rooms include a Nespresso machine, quality kettle, a generous supply of espresso, as well as a selection of delicious teas. I wish other luxury hotels took hot drinks as seriously as the Park Hyatt Zurich.

Dining

The breakfast buffet offered in the Lobby Lounge is the perfect way to fuel up before a busy day exploring Zurich. The Lobby Lounge offers a selection of smoothies that cater to every taste. While I opted for kale, the rest of the family enjoyed berry-flavoured drinks.

Dinner is also available at Café Z for deli-style dining or at the more formal parkhuus Restaurant. Children’s meals are available throughout the hotel.

The ONYX Bar is a fun spot for a pre or post-dinner cocktail and children are welcome. Be sure to try the custom Onyx Gin produced by award-winning Swiss distiller nginious!
